Also built recently, this deluxe outpost lies 4 miles east of Conifer Lake outpost (20 minute flight). Similar in design and equally as well outfitted, this outpost offers a lake with fighting bass, walleye, northern and trout for an excellent variety. Each outpost is outfitted with 4 newer 14x boats, equipped with well maintained motors, boat seats, nets, paddles, anchors and enough gas for your stay. Bring your camera because the scenery on this lake is breathtaking and you will want to capture it. Moose, bald eagles and all sorts of small game abound. A short walk over the hill puts you into Mushroom Lake, known for its plentiful walleye and large northern pike. Lake Map.

Excellent Adventures, established in 1990, operates six exclusive outpost camps on remote wilderness fly-in only lakes within a half hour or so of our Ear Falls float-plane base. We operate a private air service for our clients that includes Cessna 185, Dehavilland Beaver and Beech 18 aircraft.

We practice conservation to preserve the productivity of our fisheries. This includes the policies of 'Catch and Consume', 'Catch, Photograph and Release' (CPR) and 'No Trophies Home'. Modern lifelike replicas of your trophy fish can be made by today's expert taxidermists from a good photograph. We expect our guest to review and practice proper fish handling to insure that fish returned to the lakes will remain healthy and contribute to next years production of fish.

When we began managing our lakes almost twenty years ago, we found them to be in very good shape. Today, after insuring that trophies where returned to the waters unharmed, and our spawning population of female fish would grow, our fishing today is simple world class and as good as. Our lakes are superior habitat for game fish as they all have flowage through the lakes. The constant supply of water delivers the nutrients that support the food chain that in tern feeds the fish with a never ending supply of prey.
